For more than two years a new brewery with a familiar recipe has been brewing in the Bigfork area. Flathead Lake Brewery is just months away from canning their own beer, KAJ18 Kalispell Montana News reported on January 27.

Anyone driving through Bigfork, Montana can't help but pass right by one of the biggest construction projects in the Flathead Valley: a new home for the Flathead Lake Brewery. And excitement is building.

"We're very excited. Should be another few months and the project will be wrapped up," said Tim Jacoby, Flathead Lake Master Brewer.

Master Brewer Tim Jacoby says the brewery is right on track to be canning their beer by spring, "The brewery, we should be able to get running in spring, that'll happen first and then the restaurant, shortly after that. We hope by the summer."

The New Brewery will be LEED certified, and really one of a kind on the national level.

The new brewery will have an upper and lower deck that both look out over the Bigfork Bay on Flathead Lake.
