| E-Malt.com News article: USA, IN: Bloomington Brewing Company starts bottling beer
Bloomington Brewing Co. will begin selling bottled beer after 20 years of selling primarily draft beer. The brewery, which says it is the state's third modern-era brewery, did a limited production of 500 bottles of B-Seven Bourbon Barrel Belgian Brown a few years ago, Indianapolis Star reported on April 1.
Jeff Mease, established the company in 1994 after lobbying to change Indiana alcoholic beverage laws that were discouraging to small breweries.
The award-winning Rooftop IPA will be the first bottled beer and will be available at a release party at Big Red Liquors in Bloomington, on April 5. It will be available in Indianapolis closer to June.
