Swamp Cabbage Brewing Co., which recently launched its line of drinks, opened its 921 Brookwood Drive, Columbia brewery on August 17 for public visits, tours and tastings, ColaDaily.com reported.

Swamp Cabbage is owned and operated by brothers Doug and Ed Boyd.

The brewery will be open on a regular basis with hours still to be determined. The hours will be extended for big events, including the University of South Carolina’s first football game of the year Aug. 28. when Swamp Cabbage will open at noon.

“It all depends on what kind of crowd we get,” Doug said.
