E-Malt.com News article: Angola: New 1 mln hl brewery launched in Luanda

A new brewery with production capacity of 1 mln hl per year was launched on October 9 in Luanda, ionline.pt reported.

The construction of Chinese-owned Lowenda Brewery Company began in 2011. The company will market its production under Bela brand and will be employing 250 Angolans and 170 foreign workers, it is reported.

The volume of investments in the project was not disclosed.
