New Holland Brewing Co. announced that it was beginning shipments of its beer to Canada, mlive.com reported on October, 15.

“We're excited to launch in Ontario this month,” said New Holland Vice President Fred Bueltmann.

The brewery said shipments of The Poet Oatmeal Stout will be followed by its Hatter series beers later in the month. In November, shipments of Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Stout will begin hitting Ontario shelves.

The Craft Brand Company is importing the New Holland beers. The brewery plans several launch events this month in Toronto.

According to mid-year production estimates, New Holland is expected to produce 35,240 barrels of beer in 2014, compared to 25,575 barrels in 2013.

The brewery now sends beer to 20 states and Canada, and ships spirits to 15 states.
