| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Louis Cifer Brew Works opens in Toronto
Louis Cifer Brew Works, a large brewpub in Toronto’s east side Danforth neighbourhood, announced on October, 14 that it is now open.
Launched by co-owners Erin Gamelin and Craig Abbott – also owners of Stout Irish Pub – and head brewer Christine Nagy, plans for the 4,500-square-foot and 200+ capacity restaurant and brewery were first revealed back in August.
Currently in soft opening mode, Louis Cifer offers a drinks list that features several house beers – Lager, IPA, Dirty Blonde, Brown Ale and a lager-saison hybrid called Liaison – that are currently being brewed elsewhere under contract until construction of the on-site brewhouse is complete.
