It’s been a process the brewery’s founders say has been six years in the making, but Imagine Nation Brewing finally opened just outside of downtown Missoula on March, 13, NBC-Montana reported.

The brewery is the brainchild of a couple with experience as humanitarian workers in conflict zones, and their stated goal is to bring about social change through the togetherness of a community brewery.

“It's thrilling to be able to open after six years of working on this project, and really building a community that can support the launch of this vision. It's been pretty amazing to actually see people in the taproom and making it real,” said cofounder Robert Rivers.

The crew has six beers on top. The brewery is open Tuesday through Sunday, 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and is located at 1151 West Broadway.
