E-Malt.com News article: USA, MN: Lucid Brewing to open a new brewhouse and taproom in Minneapolis in October

Minnetonka-based Lucid Brewing is planning to expand to Minneapolis, Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal reported on June 29.

The suburban beer brewer will lease space in the Tubs Inc. building in the North Loop, Minneapolis. Lucid Brewing plans to build a 100-seat taproom, retail shop and brewhouse in the one-story building, at the corner of Fifth Street North and Seventh Avenue North.

Lucid Brewing's North Loop location is slated to open in October. Lucid Brewing will continue to produce at its original location in Minnetonka.

Lucid Brewing has been on an expansion kick over the last six months. In March, it completed a capital campaign to raise funds for building its own taproom, but was struggling to find a fitting spot for it in the west metro area. Then, about two weeks ago, the company announced it bought Hudson, Wis.-based craft beer brewer American Sky Brewing Co.
