Yarpivo, Russian brewer, has reported that their sales reached a rise of 41% up to 23.5mln deciliters of beer in the first half of this year. The company also said the sales profits increased by 65% up to Ru2.3 billion. These achievements come from the upgrading of production facilities, Yarpivo reported.
Yarpivo is 60% owned by the BBH beer group, and has a 6% share of the Russian domestic beer market with its main brands Yarpivo and Volga.
In 2001, Yarpivo declared that sales volumes increased by 40% up to 35 million deciliters if compared with 2000 year figures (25 million deciliters) and company net profit rose by 94% up to US$39 million (net profit in 2000 - US$20 million).
