Doc G’s Brewing Company, a brewery and family-friendly restaurant, located at 208 W. Long Avenue in DuBois, is slated to open for business this fall, The Courier-Express reported on August 9.

Boasting of a 15-barrel brew system with the capacity to output 18,000 kegs annually, the brewery will offer six flagship craft brews ranging from an orange blossom wheat to a Scottish ale, an American IPA to a Belgium style stout.

Owning a brewpub has been Dr. Jeff Gilbert’s dream for over a decade.

“My wife finally said, ‘Are you going to shut up or are you going to do it,’” Gilbert said with a laugh as he stood amid the naked wooden beams, ladders, and piles of power tools currently strewn through the future brewpub which formerly housed a plumbing business.
