Six months after soft-launching with contract brewed versions of its Three Fields Lager and Ladyfriend IPA brands, Elora Brewing has opened its bricks and mortar location, and has also announced details of an exclusive members club, Canadian Beer news reported on August 24.

The brewpub at 107 Geddes Street in downtown Elora officially opened on August 12, and is offering a selection of Elora beers alongside brands from other local breweries, and beer-friendly comfort food by chef Ben Sachse.

The brewery has also launched a Founding Friendship Members Club which has a somewhat high membership cost of C$1000, but offers a good return on investment including a custom made and numbered growler by local potter Barbara Murphy, a growler fill each week for a year, a 15% discount on other retail store purchases, first access to all beer releases, exclusive members tastings and events, and much more. Club enrolment will be limited to 100 members, with memberships being sold starting on September 1.
