Stark County’s newest brewpub is ready to open its doors, Akron Beacon Journal reported on August 25.

Royal Docks Brewing Co., located in the Marketplace at Nobles Pond development in Jackson Township, will hold a ribbon cutting and ceremonial keg tapping on September 5.

“It’s great to deal with the beer side instead of the build-out and construction,” co-owner John Bikis said.

“The goal is to help put Stark County on Ohio’s beer map,” Bikis added.

Royal Docks Brewing, named after the Docklands area of London, will launch with five and possibly six beers on draft. They include Prodigal Sun American IPA, Docklands Coffee Porter, Docklands Porter, Sezon Farmhouse Ale and 67 Alaska Kolsch.
