The Petoskey Brewing Company has partnered with Fabiano Brothers Distribution, UpNorthLive.com reported on September 11.

The partnership will bring beer from one of northern Michigan's most well known breweries to an additional eleven counties.

In June, the company installed several new tanks for making beer, which doubled their product output.

Since increasing their output, the owners of the company have been searching for more distribution outlets, allowing them to get their products into the hands of their fans in the central and southern parts of the state.

"We've developed a very good brand name," said Petoskey Brewing Company’s Co-Owner Patrick Dowd. "So the combination of our beers with our expansion and production as well as our really talented brew staff has allowed us to garner this reputation downstate."

The first shipment of 1,500 cases was sent down last week. It included dozens of cases of the Petoskey Brewing Company’s most popular items like their Sparkling Lager.

The Petoskey Brewing Company is currently able to produce about 500 barrels of beer a month.
