| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Four Fathers Brewing set to open soon near Rockwood
Ontario Beer Network reports that a new brewery is getting set to open soon near Rockwood, a village outside of the city of Guelph in Southwestern Ontario.
Four Fathers Brewing has been in the planning stages for several years now, but has made a big step toward being operational with the hiring of head brewer Kevin Freer (previously at Wellington Brewery).
Brewery co-founder Mike Hruden tells OBN that unlike most new breweries that launch with a retail store and tasting room, Four Fathers will have no public access, and will instead have its beer available in 750 ml bottles at select pubs and restaurants, with LCBO distribution being considered for the future.
The brewery will also be running a “Friends of the Four” club that will offer “very limited runs of Premium style beers (Saison, Belgian, DIPA, Imperial Stouts, Sours, Barrel Aged…)” exclusively to members.
