| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Underdog’s Brewhouse changes its name to All Or Nothing Brewhouse
Underdog’s Brewhouse has announced that it has changed its name to All Or Nothing Brewhouse due to a trademark dispute with another unnamed brewery, Canadian Beer News reported on December 1.
According to a statement by the company, “a fellow craft brewery served a Statement of Claim, alleging that the name “Underdog” violated a trademark that brewery had been using for a few years. It should be noted that prior to establishing the company, all necessary steps for ensuring that no Underdog trademark was already registered were conducted.”
The new name was already in use by Underdog’s as the brand name its flagship beer, All or Nothing Hopfenweisse, which is currently being brewed under contract while co-owners and brothers Jeff and Eric Dornan work towards opening a bricks and mortar brewing location.
Newly branded cans of All or Nothing Hopfenweisse are rolling out now at LCBO locations throughout Ontario.
