| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: Brick Brewing expands deal to make beverages under contract manufacturing arrangement
Brick Brewing says it has renewed and expanded a deal to make beverages under a contract manufacturing arrangement, the Waterloo Record reported on December 21.
The Kitchener-based beer maker said the contract includes a five-year term "with a significant minimum annual volume commitment and associated capital investments."
The company said it can't disclose the identity of the customer, but it said that after the first renewal year of the deal it expects volume under the agreement to represent more than 10 per cent of its total volume.
Brick makes Laker and Waterloo brand beers, and Seagram coolers, and produces President's Choice beer for Loblaws and Mott's Caesar for Canada Dry Mott's Inc.
Last week, it announced it has secured the Canadian rights to the LandShark and Margaritaville beer, cider and cooler brands.
