The Radegast brewery of the Plzensky Prazdroj brewing group, the SABMiller ownership, has noticed a rise of 11% in beer sales up to over 1 million hl in the first half of 2002, if compared to the same period of previous year.

In the first half of 2002 Radegast has also increased the exported beer volume by 57.5% year-on-year and has become the second largest beer seller in Plzensky Prazdroj group as well as in the Czech Republic.
