British Columbia beer news source What’s Brewing reports in its latest weekly newsletter that the province’s newest craft brewery has opened in Chemanius, a small town on the east coast of Vancouver Island.

Riot Brewing has been founded by Aly Tomlin and Ralf Rosenke, with veteran brewmaster Fabian Specht – previously at Central City, Howe Sound and Sailor Hagar’s – overseeing the brewhouse.

The brewery tasting room and retail store opened for the first time on November 10th, offering pours and growler fills of brands including Riot Lager, Riot Pale Ale and Riot IPA.

Riot Brewing is open from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
