E-Malt.com News article: Canada, ON: 4 Degrees Brewing to be launched in Smiths Falls in early 2017

Inside Ottawa Valley reports that 4 Degrees Brewing will soon be one of the key tenants in the County Fair Mall in Smiths Falls, which is set to be revitalized under new ownership.

Originally opened in 1975, the mall had lost several anchor stores in the last few years, and previous owners RioCan recently announced that it would be closed and demolished. But local developers Guy Saumure & Sons have purchased the land and building, and intend to keep the mall open with as many current tenants as possible, while also filling vacant units with new businesses.

4 Degrees will be opening a brewery, tasting room and retail shop in early 2017 in a space that was previously occupied by a Staples store. The company was originally planning to open a facility in a former high school on Gould Street in Smiths Falls, but changed its plans once the opportunity came forward to move into the mall.
