| E-Malt.com News article: Canada, NS: FirkinStein Brewing planning second location in South Shore region
The Atlantic Canada Beer Blog reports that a nanobrewery in Nova Scotia’s South Shore region has announced plans to open a second location that will allow it to finally operate a retail store and tap room.
FirkinStein Brewing opened in September 2015, and until now has been selling growlers to customers exclusively via home delivery and farmers’ market sales.
According to ACCB, “the second location will feature a 300 litre pilot system for more fun and experimental small batch brewing, and a storefront where folks can purchase bottles and growlers of their beer, and sit for a spell enjoying their selections on tap.”
The new facility is expected to open this June on King Street in Bridgewater.
