| E-Malt.com News article: USA, MI: Dutch Girl Brewery files for bankruptcy
Dutch Girl Brewery was in business for less than two years before it abruptly closed in March, MLive reported on May 2.
Less than two months later, on Tuesday, May 2, the company filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy with the Western District of Michigan Bankruptcy Court.
The filing cited more than $333,000 in liabilities, and about $157,000 in assets.
MLive reached the office of Dutch Girl co-owner Luke Finchem, but he chose not to comment. MLive also left a message with Greg Ekdahl, the attorney listed on the filing.
It is unclear what went wrong with the young brewery.
