A Rochester Hills brewing facility for Griffin Claw Brewing Co. is set to be operational in February, The Oakland Press reported on January 26.

According to Crain’s Detroit Business, the 33,000 square-foot facility at M-59 and Crooks Road is set to be operational next month. Brewing and distilling will begin in the spring or summer, and a taproom will follow eventually.

The Rochester Hills site will be equipped with a 20-barrel brewhouse, and 30 to 40 percent of the space will be used for distribution.

The new facility will employ 20 to 30 new employees when fully operational.

Griffin Claw opened its 15,000 square-foot brewery at 575 S. Eton St. in Birmingham, UK in 2013.
