A new brewery that plans to focus mainly on darker beers is now open in Edmonton, the Canadian Beer News reported on December 10.

Omen Brewing has been founded by three brothers and their father in the Oswald family – aka the “O-men” – and opened for the first time last Friday December 7th.

Beers on tap at launch include Snowy Owl Pale Ale (5% abv), Spilt Milk Stout (5% abv), and Medieval Wheat Dunkelweizen (5% abv), with all available by the glass and in growlers.

Omen Brewing is located at 9942 67 Ave. NW in Edmonton, and is currently open limited hours which will be announced via the brewery’s Facebook page.
