A new brewery in British Columbia’s Kootenay Region opened this past weekend to offer growler sales to its local community, the Canadian Beer News reported on April 6.
Erie Creek Brewing has been founded by brewer Colin Hango, and is located in the village of Salmo, approximately 40 km south of Nelson in the Salmo River Valley.
While the launch of its taproom and live music lounge has been delayed due to COVID-19, the brewery is open for take-away sales for now, with six beers available including Out Cold Cream Ale (5.1% abv), Monashee Springs APA (5.4% abv), Lost Mountain Brown Ale (5.5% abv), Red Eye Redemption Rye IPA (5.9% abv), Erie Mist American IPA (5.2% abv), and Mine Wheat Beer (5.2% abv).
Erie Creek Brewing is currently open for retail sales from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Tuesday to Saturday, and 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM on Sunday.
