California’s Pariah Brewing Co. has officially opened its taproom and brewery in the former home of Union Craft Brewing at 1700 Union Ave. in Hampden, the Baltimore Fishbowl reported on February 15.

The San Diego-based brewery was originally scheduled to open late last year, but ran into supply chain and COVID-related issues.

Pariah soft opened the Hampden location on Jan. 21 and held a grand opening this weekend to align with the brewery’s fifth anniversary.

While the brewery hails from California, Pariah’s founder, co-owner, and brewmaster, Brian Mitchell, grew up in Prince George’s County, and its distribution manager Steven Sabers is a Baltimore native.

The Hampden brewery will be open Wednesday-Friday from 4-10 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 12-10 p.m., according to their website.
