E-Malt.com News article: USA: January-June beer shipments down 5.9% vs last year

The Beer Institute on August 9 published an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for June 2023.

The June 2023 estimate is 15,100,000 barrels, a decrease of 6.4% compared to June 2022 removals of 16,136,260.

The January-June shipments are reported at 77,155,792 barrels, down 5.9% from the same period last year.

The July 2023 domestic tax paid estimate is scheduled to be released on September 7, 2023.
