E-Malt.com News article: USA: Unofficial estimate shows domestic tax paid beer shipments fell 6.5% in 2023

The Beer Institute published on February 7 an unofficial estimate of domestic tax paid shipments by beer brewers for December 2023.

The January-December shipments are seen at 151,489,225 barrels, down 6.5% from the 162,080,936 barrels shipped in 2022.

The December 2023 estimate is 11,700,000 barrels, a decrease of 2.5% compared to December 2022 removals of 11,996,258.
