Listermann Brewing Company announced on August 15 that it will be officially closing, according to a post on its Facebook page.

The company, operating since 1991, announced that Saturday, August 16 will be its final day of operations.

The brewery, which opened in 2008 on Dana Avenue in Evanston, did not state the reason for the closure.
