E-Malt.com News article: Spain: Mahou San Miguel launching a new low-alcohol beer in Spain

Spanish brewer Mahou San Miguel is launching a new low-alcohol beer, San Miguel Low, in response to the growing demand for low-alcohol beverages, ESM Magazine reported on July 30.

San Miguel Low has an alcohol content of 2.7% and aims to deliver the taste of a lager.

The launch is scheduled for September 2026, initially covering the hospitality sector and key cities along the Mediterranean coast, followed by a nationwide roll-out in the hospitality & food sector in January 2027.

The low-alcohol beer will be available in 33cl bottles and cans.
