According to TASS, citing data from the National Statistics Service of Georgia, beer exports from Georgia to global markets in August amounted to 527.2 tonnes worth $636,200, an increase of 77.2% year-on-year.

Russia was the largest importer, with Georgia supplying 124 tonnes of beer.

Armenia was followed by Israel (85.7 tonnes), China (43.3 tonnes), Uzbekistan (39.9 tonnes), Latvia (33.2 tonnes), and Tajikistan (24.1 tonnes).
