The CWB (Canadian Wheat Board) announced on May 19 an interim payment of C$20 per tonne for all feed barley delivered into the 2004-05 Pool A.

CWB said: “Farmers who delivered feed barley to Pool A, which was open from Aug. 1, 2004 to Jan. 31, 2005 will receive the interim payment, which will be mailed out or received by direct deposit on May 31. Farmers wishing to defer payments have until May 26 to notify the CWB.”
