E-Malt.com News article: EU malt export licence fixations (July 01, 2002 – January 29, 2003)

EU malt export licence bookings for the period of July 1, 2002, until January 28, 2003, are 1,316,111 tons versus 1,395,443 tons during the same period of last year. At the same pace of licence fixations until the end of the crop year on June 30, bookings would reach a figure of 2.25 Mill. tons. The export surplus of the EU is approximately 2.4 Mill. tons. Licence fixations, which correspond more or less to export shipments, must be considered satisfactory.
