Lakeport Brewing Income Fund an Ontario-based brewer of value-priced, quality beer announced on April 14 that its Lakeport Pilsener brand has been recognized as one of the Top 10 selling beers in Ontario at The Beer Store.

"This is great news for Lakeport. Thanks to Ontario's beer drinkers, another one of our brands is now on the Top 10 list," said Lakeport President, George Croft. "We are especially proud that we are the only Ontario-based brewer to have two brands within the Top 10!" added Croft.

A significant increase in sales at The Beer Store over the past 12 months has enabled Lakeport Pilsener to join Lakeport Honey Lager on The Beer Store's list of Top 10 selling brands. A brand on the Top 10 List receives merchandising advantages such as improved visibility including shelf space allocation, signage on the Top 10 board and enhanced opportunities to participate in Beer Store promotional programs.

"This achievement further validates Lakeport's business model. Lakeport has great sales momentum and we continue to build brand equity," stated Teresa Cascioli, Lakeport's Chair and Chief Executive Officer. "The 'Great Beer.
