A regional antimonopoly service ruled August 07 Baltika Breweries had violated the competition law, RBC reported August 10. It was established that Baltika was coordinating entrepreneurial activity on Ryazan region's wholesale beer market by dividing the sales area between its distributors. This division was established in agreements with the distributors and ruled out competition between them. After considering the case, the antimonopoly service for the Ryazan region ordered that Baltika Breweries cease violations of antimonopoly legislation.
