Baltika Breweries said November 22 it was awarded with the “Best Annual Report in Northwestern Administrative District” on the results of analysis and estimate of annual reports for 2005.

The Contest' jury analyzed the correspondence of the structure of the annual reports to the requirements of the legislation of Russian Federation and common world trends. Each report should have contained more than twenty necessary elements, among which are general production results of the Company's activity, description of the development strategy, analysis of the market and the Company's competitive position, main principles of business management, dynamics of financial results for the previous years etc.

Baltika Annual Report for 2004 was acknowledged the best annual report in the nomination “Best Design and Poligraphy.”

In 2006 the Contest was held for the 8th time. More than 130 companies declared their participation in the Contest on 3 main and 12 additional nominations. All the interested companies were admitted to participate in the Contest, regardless of the field of their activity.

In accordance with the principles of the Contest of Annual Reports, the jury took into consideration the common world practice of the preparation of this important corporate document, main aspects of new tendencies and requirements of the investors, shareholders and authorities to the information disclosure in annual reports.

Presently Baltika Breweries has about 300 professional and consumer awards, among which are the awards “People Trademark,” “Goods of the Year,” “BRAND OF THE YEAR/EFFIE 2006,” awards of international contests Brewing Industry International Awards 2004, 2005 (UK) and European Beer Stаr Award 2004 (Germany).
