 | E-Malt.com News article: USA, ND: Bismarck Brewing closes its doors after seven years in business
Bismarck Brewing has closed its doors after seven years, KFYR reported on March 14.
Brewing industry challenges— like rising prices for brewing materials, fewer guests and the trend of younger generations drinking less— made the business unsustainable.
“I just don’t know that we quite found whatever that missing piece was to connect with everybody, because you know, it’s like, I like to think I make pretty good beer. You know, I guess I thought that was enough, but I guess it wasn’t,” said Bismarck Brewing owner Jordan Everaert.
Everaert said it’s very difficult in the brewing industry right now, but he plans to keep the Bismarck Brewing brand. He’s shifting his focus to his sister company, Bismarck Distillery.
The Ale Works restaurant remains open and will sell Bismarck Brewing beer until their supply runs out.
