E-Malt.com News article: USA: Labatt adds Buffalo to beer label

Labatt USA has added Buffalo to its label to reflect the beer company's move to the city last June, The Associated Press reported April 10.

All products Labatt sells in the United States will now be labeled "imported by Labatt USA Buffalo, NY."

Labatt USA President Glen Walter hand-delivered a case of the newly labeled beer to Mayor Byron Brown Thursday. In exchange, Brown proclaimed Thursday "Labatt USA Day."

In moving its Labatt USA headquarters to downtown Buffalo from Norwalk, Conn., the Canadian beer company credited the region's showing as one of Labatt's strongest U.S. markets.
