E-Malt.com News article: United Kingdom: First barley offered in intervention

Data by RPA shows that 5,030 tonnes of barley were offered into UK intervention stores by midnight on 5th November, HGCA communicated on November, 10.

This is the first grain offered into UK stores since February 2006.

The current intervention price in sterling, applicable for all of November, is £90.96/tonne.
