E-Malt.com News article: EU: More than 400 thousand tonnes of intervention barley sold in the second round of tenders

Last week, 427,451 tonnes of barley and 33,600 tonnes of wheat were sold in the EU's second round of tender sales, HGCA reported on December, 13.

Germany dominated, with bids accepted on 242,857 tonnes of barley at a minimum price of EUR185/tonne, with no French bids accepted.

In the UK, 13,163 tonnes of bids were accepted at a minimum of EUR199.08/tonne, HGCA said.
