Brewery news

Lighthouse Brewing is getting set to release Uncharted Belgian IPA, the latest instalment in the “Big Flavour” series of limited edition beers, Vancouver Island beer news blog Beer on the Rock reported on August, 30.

According to the post, Uncharted was created by blending two different beers – “an Antipodean IPA featuring Galaxy hops from Australia and Riwaka hops from New Zealand”, and a “tripel-styled Belgian ale”. The result was scheduled to be released on September 1st at select liquor stores.

In addition, a cask of each of these two original beers was set aside before blending. The IPA was tapped last night at The Beagle Pub in Victoria under the name Resurgence IPA, and the Belgian ale is set to be released at another Victoria establishment in the next week or two.
