E-Malt.com News article: Russia: Barley supply and export availability to drop in 2012/13

Barley production in Russia is forecast at 16.0 mln tonnes in 2012/13, versus 16.9 mln tonnes this year, UkrAgroConsult reported earlier this week.

Domestic barley use is expected at 14.3 mln tonnes (14.0 mln tonnes in 2011/12), exports at 1.7 mln tonnes (2.8 mln tonnes in 2011/12), and ending stocks at 630,000 tonnes (876,000).
