E-Malt.com News article: Tunisia: SFBT reports growth in beer volumes in the first two quarters of this year

Tunisia’s leading beer maker, Société de Fabrication des boissons de Tunisie (or SFBT) said beer production and sales increased by 20% in the first quarter of 2012 as compared to the same period last year, Le Figaro reported on July, 27.

“Our beer sales volume increased by 3.52% in the second quarter and by 17% in the first quarter of this year,’ SFBT said in a statement.

French group Castel owns a 49% stake in SFBT, which was established in 1925.
