Brazil’s leading brewer Ambev is negotiating the construction of a new beer and soft drinks plant in the state of Paraná, Estadão reported on August, 6.

"We are working hard to attract new productive investment for the State. Negotiations with Ambev are advancing well," Governor Beto Richa was quoted as saying.

New meetings of Ambev representatives with the state government will be held in the coming days, it is reported.

No information about the location of the future factory of Ambev is available, but according to market speculation, the plant may be installed in Ponta Grossa.
