Midnight Sun Brewing released Berserker Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout at the brewery in Alaska, beerpulse.com reported on August, 9.

The beer hasn’t been shipped out to the market in two years though that will change soon.

This version of Berserker Imperial Stout was aged in both red wine and whiskey barrels. The entire batch was brought back together before being packaged in kegs and 22-oz bottles.

A company representative said that the beer would be shipped to the following markets: AK, South California (and Bay Area), WA, OR and NYC. In 2010, only 22 oz. bottles were shipped out of the state.
