E-Malt.com News article: USA, NY: The Long Ireland Beer Company releases Dubbed Collaboration Saison Ale
Brewery news

The Long Ireland Beer Company will be crafting a new brew and the special beer will be made from local hops, Riverhead Patch reported on August, 14.

News has been brewing at the Long Ireland Beer Company in recent months. In February, the business announced plans for distribution expansion. And in May, the Long Ireland Beer Company put out its third bottle release, a collaborative effort with Centerport-based Blind Bat Brewery.

Dubbed Collaboration Saison Ale, the French farmhouse-style beer, is brewed with a standard coriander flavour and has 6.6 percent alcohol by volume, a slightly heavier ABV for a typical saison.

After putting out 4,500 Double India Pale Ale bottles in February, the 2,500-batch of saisons came about naturally after Long Ireland owners Greg Martin and Dan Burke found themselves previously collaborating with Blind Bat owner Paul Dlugokencky.
