E-Malt.com News article: USA, VA: Devils Backbone Brewing to expand and offer several new products this year

Devils Backbone Brewing has experienced huge growth this year, beerpulse.com reported on November, 14.

The company produced 800 barrels in 2011 out of its brewpub and added a 15,000 square-foot production facility called The Outpost in March of this year. In addition to producing 900 barrels out of the brewpub, Devils Backbone will produce nearly 10,000 barrels out of the Outpost in 2012 and has big plans for it going into 2013.

With their expanded capacity, they anticipate being able to complete their footprint in VA by expanding to Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

They will also be able to offer several new products, including a year round dark offering (Schwartzbier in the warmer months and Baltic Porter in the cooler ones); increased availability of Trailblazers Limited Release Series, including the return of The Congo, a belgian inspired pale ale (FKA Belgian Congo Pale Ale), and the addition of two new styles; a line of small batch brewers reserve offerings, starting in March with Sixteen Point IPA.
