Crooked Ladder Brewing Co. is expected to have beer ready for customers by the last week of June, riverhead.patch.com reported on June, 1st.

After starting the project in 2010, the owners of the Crooked Ladder Brewing Co. will get to start brewing at their West Main Street location next week.

The brewery received its final permits on May, 31, and the brewer Duffy Griffiths said he plans on having beer ready to drink by the last week of June.

Griffiths, the owner of the Digger's restaurant Steve Wirth, and his brother David Wirth celebrated the final go-ahead on May, 31 afternoon, and Griffiths said he hopes to be brewing on Wednesday.
