Ukrainian beer market is to grow 13% this year or with 2 million hectolitres up to 17,2 million hectolitres versus 2003, Sun Interbrew Ukraine revealed its forecast for 2004. The brewer is the leader on the beer market of Ukraine and controls 34.2%. This year beer demand is to grow the company’s spokeswoman said. In spite of bad weather last year beer market increased 13%. Sun Interbrew Ukraine owns 3 breweries in Ukraine: Desna from Chernigov, Yantar from Nikolaevsk and Rogan from Kharkov. In 2003 Sun Interbrew Ukraine increased its share on the beer market from 32.2% to 34.3%. The beer maker increased 20% its beer sales or with 88 million litres up to 530 million litres.
