Ninkasi Brewing adds Oktoberfest to its Prismatic Lager Series in time for the fall, Shanken News Daily on August, 16.

The brew will be available on draft and in 12-ounce bottles throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, California and Vancouver from September through October.

Billed as a Dortmund-style lager, Oktoberfest (5.1% abv) is the second beer to be added to the Prismatic Series this year, following the release of Sterling Pils in April.

The series was established in 2011, beginning with the release of Helles Belles, to highlight beers in Ninkasi’s portfolio that are Northwest versions of traditional lager styles.
