Brewery news

After nearly two years of planning and preparation, Prairie Sun Brewery opened its doors late last week to craft beer lovers in Saskatoon, Canadian Beer News reported on September, 3.

Founded by partners Cameron Ewen and Heather Williams, Prairie Sun is located in the former Saskatoon Bakery building at 2020 Quebec Ave. in Saskatoon, a space that is being shared with a recently opened location of Nestor’s Bakery.

The brewery made its official debut last Thursday August 29th with the release of (306) Urban Wheat, which is available for growler sales at the brewery and on tap at Congress Beer House (215 2nd Ave. S., Saskatoon). Coming later this week will be Prairie Lily Lager, and soon Crazy Farm Farmhouse Ale will complete the trio of flagship brands.
